Hiya Everyone, Welcome to my frugality channel called Skint Living UK, I do DIY to save money and I've been working on my vintage Welsh dresser over the last couple of weeks to make it look more cottagecore in style, so I have finally finished the base cupboard and have starting working on the arched dresser top. I have finally got the backing boards off and tidied up the rough edges of the shelves with a chisel and added some filler in places, the top had previously been scrubbed with sugar soap, cleaned and undercoated and has now I have given it 2 coats of Dulux Satinwood paint in the colour Willow Tree - I love this shade of paint as its so pretty! My next step will be to add some tongue and groove to the dresser for its new back board so it will look more cottage style - I will show this in the next and final part of the makeover.
