I went behind the scenes at Wimbledon last week while it was closed to the public and there is so much I didn’t know before I went so I hope this video is helpful if you’re going to Wimbledon too!

When is Wimbledon 2026?
Wimbledon 2026 runs from Monday 29 June to Sunday 12 July at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in SW19, London.
How do you get Wimbledon tickets?
There are three main ways. The public ballot opens every September, apply at wimbledon.com. On the day, Wimbledon holds back thousands of tickets to sell at the gate. Arrive around 4am to queue for a £30 Grounds Pass, or camp overnight to be in the first 500 and get a chance to buy a Centre Court ticket.
How much does a Wimbledon Grounds Pass cost?
A Grounds Pass costs around £30 and gives you access to the site, the outside courts and Henman Hill. (great vibes all day!)
Can you bring your own food and drink to Wimbledon?
Yes. You can bring your own picnic and one bottle of wine or champagne per person. Bags must be no larger than 40cm x 30cm x 30cm. No hard-sided containers or cool boxes.
How much are the strawberries at Wimbledon?
Strawberries and cream are £2.85 per punnet in 2026, grown at Hugh Lowe Farm in Kent and picked fresh every day.
Is there a museum at Wimbledon?
Yes, the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum is the world's largest tennis museum. Tickets from £15 for adults, £10 for children. Book at bookings.wimbledon.com.
What is Henman Hill?
Henman Hill (officially Aorangi Terrace) is the grassy bank where spectators watch matches on the big screen. Included with a Grounds Pass.
