Hiya Everyone, Welcome to my frugality channel called Skint Living UK, have you heard of planned obsolescence it is when a company makes the product poor quality so you keep buying it again and again so the company can make more profits, this is the epitome of corporate greed. My washing machine died and it was only 4 years old so I am gutted about it but thankfully I had my emergency fund and my son lent me the rest, so I was able to order a new one the same day, I tried to stack the discounts as the machine was £30 off and I used top cash back too plus I chose the cheapest delivery - there was no option for free delivery! The removal of the old machine was very costly too at £25!

Me and my grown up son live on small budget of £800 per month in total, so we have a frugal life my goal is to get rid of my one last debt and to renovate the house as I want to put it up for sale so I can downsize. My son's main goal is to save up money for a deposit for his own home.
