Hiya Everyone, Welcome to my frugality channel called Skint Living UK, I like to do crafting and make things from thrifted, vintage or second hand items, I made this XL granny square blanket from thrifted yarn / wool which took me 2 years to collect and make as I have arthritis in my hands. I have used chunky yarn and used various colours, I crocheted 15 panels of 6 squares, I made the granny squares slowly over the last 2 years making 90 squares in total!!! I used slip stitch to crochet them together, then I made a border around the edges to neaten them with slip stitch in brown yarn, I love it!!!
