One of the most underrated ways to save money at the grocery store is checking the reduced meat section before you shop. Most of the time, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the meat. The store just needs to sell it quickly because it’s approaching its sell-by date. If you’re planning to cook it today or freeze it today, you can save a lot of money. I was able to pick up about 12 pounds of chicken for $27 simply because it needed to be used or frozen within the next day or two. Some of it will become dinner, and the rest is going straight into the freezer for future meals. With grocery prices being what they are, I’ll take every opportunity to save money without sacrificing quality. Do you check the reduced meat section when you shop, or do you skip right past it? #GrocerySavings #BudgetFriendly #moneysavingtips
