Papaya is an amazing plant, you can grow it to eat as a vegetable, fruit, or even salad.
It's easy to grow in the right climate and can produce food for years once established.
I like to pile lots of compost around the trunk and find that this feeds the plant and the soil at the same time.
By doing this, you're improving plant health above and below ground, producing an amazing root system that will attract lots of worms!
