PUBG's Account Farming: A Crowdsourced Cheating Epidemic

In this investigation, I examine a form of cheating that often goes unnoticed: automated account farming. Using gameplay evidence, match history analysis, and PUBG's own Rules of Conduct, I explore how farming bots appear to be operating across PUBG Battlegrounds, particularly in low-population Ranked FPP queues on the ASIA and SEA servers.

Throughout the video, I introduce the concept of "Crowdsourced Cheating"—a term I've coined to describe a situation where thousands of independent players (along with commercial account farming operations) collectively undermine the integrity of PUBG by using automated software to farm Battle Points, event rewards, coupons, cosmetics, ranked rewards, and high-level accounts.

In this investigation you'll see:

• How PUBG farming bots behave during live matches
• Why automated account farming appears to violate PUBG's Rules of Conduct
• Why Ranked FPP queues make these accounts easier to identify
• How account farming may impact PUBG's anti-cheat systems and game integrity
• The connection between account farming, account reselling, and premium cosmetics
• How farming bots can affect the Steam Marketplace economy
• Why Krafton could potentially detect these accounts using behavioural analysis and AI

This video is based on my own observations gathered over multiple days of reviewing PUBG match replays and match histories. Where estimates are discussed, they are clearly identified as estimates rather than confirmed figures.

Whether you're interested in PUBG cheating, PUBG anti-cheat, account farming, farming bots, bot accounts, game integrity, or how cheating affects PUBG Battlegrounds, I hope this investigation provides useful insight and starts an informed discussion within the community.
