Sometimes the best transformations are the simplest! In today’s furniture makeover, I’m tackling a pair of nightstands I found for just $30 at my local flea market. If you’re just starting your DIY journey, this flip is exactly what you need to see.

I walk you through my full process—from a deep clean with Dawn soap to scuff sanding and using my favorite shellac-based primer to prevent any bleed-through. Things didn’t go exactly to plan (wait until you see the hardware struggle and the paint color surprise!), but that’s all part of the process. I’m also sharing some personal updates about the channel and where I’m feeling led to go next.
