The quilt demonstrated is approximately 42 x 42" however, the size is easily adjusted by adding extra columns and rows.
Both blocks use a combination of of light background and dark fabrics. The layout works with the combinations of blocks demonstrated or alternatively using all of Block A or all of Block B
Each measure 14.5 x 14.5"

Each Block A uses (you will need 5 blocks in total)
4 (x 5) at lighter (low volume) background at 2.5 x 4.5"
8 (x 5)at dark fabric at 2.5 x 4.5 "
5 (x5) dark fabric 2.5" squares
4 (x5) light fabric at 2.5" squares
4 (x5) light fabric at 4.5" squares OR 8 (x5) 2 2.5 x 4.5" pieced

Each Block B uses (you will need 4 blocks in total)
8 (x 4) at lighter (low volume) background at 2.5 x 4.5"
4 (x 4)at dark fabric at 2.5 x 4.5 "
4 (x4) dark fabric 2.5" squares
5 (x4) light fabric at 2.5" squares
