How much weight can this hold?
- The 1/4 in quick links have a weight rating of 880lbs each. The 3/16 in Zinc coated steel chain has a weight rating of 800 lbs. The lag eye hook screws have a weight limit of 320 lbs each. Then the eye hook screws with nuts have a working load limit of 300 lbs each. I didn't see a world where I was stacking more than 300-350 lbs of weight on these shelves.

Can I do this above a garage door?
- Yes, the space above the garage door track is typically unused. Make sure your shelf clears the door fully when open, and that all lag screws hit solid joists.

Do I need a drill?
- Yes, a basic cordless drill is essential for driving screws and boring pilot holes.
