I've wanted to make this bag for such a long time... but I refused to buy new fabric for it.

Old bedsheets just weren't sturdy enough, so I kept waiting until I finally found the perfect material: a thick blackout curtain ready for a second life. ♻️

And now I'm obsessed with how this turned out.

The bag is surprisingly simple to make:
✨ one large fabric circle
✨ one long shoulder strap
✨ a few fabric loops

That's it!

The best part is what happens afterwards.
You can open the bag almost completely flat, place all your groceries (or anything else) on top, and simply pull the strap.

The opening gathers almost by itself, turning the flat circle into a roomy shoulder bag.

It's simple, practical, beginner-friendly... and somehow incredibly satisfying to use.

I already know this won't be my last one.
