Another important thing I didn’t go over is the height of the quail enclosure.
I think ours is 3’ or so and we haven’t had any issues. HOWEVER “they” say it should be 18” and under OR 6’ tall because the quail can fly up and break their necks.
We simply didn’t know this at the time of building and since we haven’t had issues, we haven’t worried about finding a way to fix it.
