In this special video, I’m sharing what it truly feels like as a highly sensitive person to experience moving from Germany to Northern Sweden - not just physically, but emotionally, mentally, and on a deep nervous system level.
Sit down, take a deep breath, maybe grab a cup of tea… this video is for you ❤️
If you are a HSP (highly sensitive person), neurodivergent, or someone who easily feels overwhelmed by noise, crowds, or the fast pace of modern life… you might recognize yourself in some of my experiences. You are not alone ❤️
For me, moving from Germany to Northern Sweden was completely life changing and in this video, I open up about why life in Sweden feels so different - softer, calmer, slower… and why it finally feels like home.
We talk about:
✨ What it means to be a highly sensitive person in today’s world
✨ The reality of moving from Germany to Northern Sweden
✨ Sensory overload, overstimulation & emotional exhaustion
✨ Why life in Sweden can feel like a safe haven for sensitive souls
✨ The difference in people, space, and everyday interactions
✨ How nature, silence, and solitude can regulate your nervous system
As a highly sensitive person, I always struggled with the density, noise, and constant stimulation in Germany. Even in nature, it never felt truly quiet.
After moving from Germany to Northern Sweden, everything finally felt different.
Life in Sweden gave me something I I had missed my whole life: real stillness. Not just external silence… but internal peace.
If you’re dreaming about life in Sweden, or wondering what moving from Germany to Northern Sweden might feel like as a highly sensitive person, this video might give you a deeper, more honest perspective.
And if you’re currently in a place that feels too loud, too fast, too much…please know this:
There is nothing wrong with you. Your sensitivity is not a weakness. And you are allowed to create a life that feels good for your nervous system ❤️
Thank you so much for watching and your support! It means the world to me ❤️
