We’re back with another fix for the driveshafts, also known as universals or dogbones, that kept falling out of the drive cups on our Baseltek NX2 RC truck.

The Baseltek NX2 is a re-boxed HSP Grampus and shares many parts with the Helion Conquest, so finding replacement parts is relatively easy at places like your local HobbyTown. In this video, we try a simple solution to keep the RC driveshafts securely in place and put the fix to the test.

Our truck was an incredible value at just $80, with metal axles and a Hobbywing brushless ESC and motor. But after dealing with driveshafts that wouldn’t stay put, we had to figure out a way to keep the drivetrain together!
