Do you get very dysregulated when you're supposed to speak Norwegian?

Do you easily get overwhelmed by a comprehension task or by the sheer complexity of the learning process itself?

Can certain aspects of the language awaken emotions, both positive and (sometimes very) negative?

A certain degree of all of this is super common. But if there's quite a lot, you might be a highly sensitive person (HSP).

Maybe you even know about yourself that you are.

I know a thing or two about high sensitivity. I have it myself, and so do a large proportion of my Norwegian students.

A much higher proportion that the 10 - 15 percent that generally estimated for society at large.

Not a very surprising self-selection, but definitely something I enjoy working with a lot, because understanding what one is dealing with can be a very efficient remedy.

Welcome to this week's live stream on Monday 21st September from 11:30 Oslo time in which we'll dig deep into the ways high sensitivity is influencing your learning process - good and bad.
