Where are all the highly sensitive men?
We often hear that high sensitivity is found in both men and women, possibly in equal numbers. But when we look at HSP retreats, webinars, surveys, online groups, classes, and community spaces, women often seem to outnumber men by a wide margin.
So what is going on?
Are highly sensitive men hiding? Are they avoiding the word “sensitive”? Are HSP spaces not speaking directly to men? Do men need different entry points into this work? Or is the assumption of equal male/female representation more complicated than we think?
In this video, I explore why HSP men may be less visible in research, community spaces, and advocacy work. This is not a video with final answers. It is an invitation to ask better questions.
