Government Secures Funding for Kitgum-Kidepo Road Upgrade

Government, through the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, has signed a financing agreement for the upgrading of the 115.8-kilometre Kitgum-Kidepo road corridor, aimed at improving connectivity in Northern Uganda and enhancing regional trade and tourism. The agreement was signed at the Ministry of Finance headquarters in Kampala, marking another step in government's efforts to expand transport infrastructure and support economic transformation. Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Minister of Finance, Planning and Economic Development, Hon.
