Impendle bemoans withholding of equitable share transfers

National Treasury has withheld part of Impendle Local Municipality’s July funding after raising concerns about the municipality’s financial management. The rural KwaZulu-Natal Impendle Local Municipality is one of 69 across the country affected by the decision, as Treasury cited repeated failures to meet key financial management requirements. Lethuxolo Nxumalo is in Impendle.
