Popok reports on the Supreme Court and the Treasury Department both working overtime to cover up for the fact that Justice Sam Alito's lawyer son starting working as a senior attorney in the Treasury Department, as a number of cases involving Treasury and the IRS have been in front of the Court and his father, including the Tariffs case, the upcoming cases about the Trump phony IRS "settlement" and $1.776 billion slush fund, etc..  And no, we are not willing to take Treasury Department spokespeople's word for it that there is no ethical breach, especially when Alito and is wife are notorious  flag-waving, MAGA "insurrection" supporters.
