Mortal Kombat 2 Movie Review

Mortal Kombat 2 improves in every way and practically erased any shortcomings the previous film had. There’s definitely still some parts that need to be fixed. It still has some source material it needs to revisit. And convey correctly. But there’s enough good here that I can almost ignore any of the bad. The best part about this movie is that it’s mostly fights. And honestly, what more could you ask for in a Mortal Kombat movie, outside of the story itself. Anytime they weren’t fighting, they were pushing the story forward. In a fun but informative way. While also adding their own spin here and there. Which I don’t really agree with. But they did it at a minimal amount, sometimes, so I won’t complain, too much. Either way, this is a good movie to see. And I give it an 8 out of 10.
