SUPERGIRL arrives with a cape, superpowers, cosmic stakes, and absolutely no interest in living in Superman's shadow.

DC Studios finally gives Kara Zor-El the spotlight, and the result is a superhero adventure packed with action, heart, attitude, and enough comic book weirdness to keep longtime fans smiling. While Superman might be the most famous Kryptonian, this movie makes a strong case that his cousin is every bit as compelling.

I checked out SUPERGIRL to see whether it could build on the momentum of the new DC Universe, and there's a lot to talk about. From the performances and visual effects to the story and its place in DC's future, this is one of the most important releases the studio has put out in years.
