Take a listen at the address that the president of Burkina Faso captain Ibrahim Traore, who is also the current president of the alliance of Sahel States confederation, delivered to the citizens of the Alliance of Sahel States on the Monday of July 6th 2026, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the formation of the alliance of Sahel States confederation.

It is a moving address in which the Burkina leader touched on various crucial issues going on within the AES space, including condemning the current cordinated attacks in member countries, that is Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso, and in which he also revealed that AES is currently pursuing constructive dialogue with ECOWAS on integration of the people of West Africa, so that even though they differ on some issues, they are working on consiltuations that foster the interests of the people of West Africa.
