Resident Country Director of International Investments LLC, Ibrahim Adjei, says government’s approach to fighting inflation is negatively affecting industries and weakening overall economic activity.

Reacting to the Bank of Ghana’s GH¢15.6 billion loss in its 2025 financial statement, he described current policy measures as “suffocating industries and haemorrhaging the economy.”

He argues that while inflation control is important, the current strategy may be undermining productivity and slowing down business growth across key sectors.
