SHANGHAI TRAVEL VLOG: THE PEARL OF ASIA, A FIRST-TIME VISITORS TRAVEL GUIDE | CHINA TOUR PT. II

Hello my fellow travel friends, here comes part 2 of our China travel diaries series!
After some days in Hong Kong, our next stop was Shanghai - come with us and explore this modern mega city, its breathtaking skyscrapers as well as its historical corners of the French Concession with its iconic Wukang building.
As you know me, I did not miss out on shopping at Shanghai’s huge malls as well as cute local shops. At the IFC mall, I got to see some really special Dior handbag creations from Jonathan Anderson’s SS26 debut collection. We also strolled down Wukang Road, Anfu Road and flashing Nanjing Road, popped into an exclusive Fendi pop-up and the Louis Vuitton Hotel, continued the hunt for the viral Adidas CNY special edition tang jacket, and watched people shaking boxes at the Labubu store, trying to find their furry friend of desire.
I also visited the unique 1000 Trees mall and the iconic LV flagship store - which literally looks like a ship stranded in the middle of the city center - to see the Visionary Journeys exhibition and to get my second China passport stamp there.
At Huaihai Road, we stopped by Haus Nowhere, a concept store with fun art installations by Nudake, turning croissants into gym equipment. We tried a couple of fancy frames at Gentle Monster and the viral Nudake must-order, a Croi Choco Latte, a buttery croissant drowned in a rich, thick chocolate shake.
When it comes to food, we did not count calories, indulging into rose bagels at the Salomon (yes, the sneaker brand) bakery, soup dumplings, delicious cakes and a five-course food porn lunch at viral cyberpunk restaurant Warehouse No. 03, sipping cotton candy milkshake and lemonade served in a glass handbag and stuffing ourselves with hot pot, ribs on fire served in a burning bookcase, and dumplings revealed with smokey special effects – spectacular food experience!
When in Shanghai, you can’t miss out on the the big three, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center and Jin Mao Tower, the glowing skyline at the (North) Bund starring Oriental Pearl Tower. We ended our trip getting lost in the magical lights of Yu Garden.
