Russia launched massive three-day nuclear weapons drills involving more than 65,000 troops across the country, as Ukraine intensifies drone attacks targeting Moscow and President Vladimir Putin begins a key visit to China. The exercises include over 7,800 military systems and weapons, along with more than 200 missile launchers, according to Russia’s Defence Ministry. Aircraft, warships, submarines, and nuclear submarines are also participating. Throughout the Ukraine war, the Kremlin has repeatedly highlighted its nuclear capabilities and issued warnings to the West amid rising geopolitical tensions.
