Largest strike on Moscow oil refinery | Ukraine Brief

On Thursday, Ukraine launched its largest-scale strike on the Moscow oil refinery to date, penetrating layers of the Russian capital’s air defense systems. Russian authorities say nearly 1,000 drones were launched at Russia from Ukraine over the last day; Kyiv has not revealed the exact number of drones launched.
The Moscow refinery produces 40% of gasoline and nearly 50% of diesel consumed in the capitol region, which could affect fuel supplies.
Seeking to capitalize on a wave of new support, President Zelenskyy is in Brussels today to hold a series of meetings with leaders from Belgium, NATO, and the European Union. Now, Belgium is set to provide seven F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine by the end of the year, of which four will be used for spare parts.
To discuss this and more, Ukraine Brief’s host Benjamin Lee is joined by Andrii Mikheiev, International Law Expert at the International Center for Ukrainian Victory.
