A major milestone in India's aviation journey has been achieved as commercial flight operations begin at Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu inaugurated the commencement of civil operations, with the first flight arriving from Lucknow. Regular services to Lucknow and Bengaluru have now begun, marking the start of operations at one of India's most ambitious airport projects.

Strategically located along the Yamuna Expressway, the airport is expected to become a major aviation and cargo hub, enhancing connectivity for Delhi-NCR and North India. The project is expected to boost trade, logistics, agriculture, tourism, investment, and employment opportunities across the region.

As India continues expanding its aviation network, Noida International Airport represents a significant step toward strengthening infrastructure and supporting the vision of a developed India.
