EU defense ministers gathered in Brussels to discuss the ongoing war in Ukraine and the escalating security situation in the Middle East.
The high-level meeting focused on increasing military support for Kyiv, strengthening European defense cooperation and responding to growing international instability.
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas stated that Ukraine remains a top priority for the European Union, while ministers reviewed possible military aid packages, ammunition supplies and long-term security cooperation.
Officials are also discussing how a proposed €90 billion loan could be used to meet Ukraine’s urgent defense needs.
The talks come as tensions in the Middle East continue to impact global stability, energy markets and international security concerns.
