Our forces continued their advance in this sector and took control of Novokhatske. The establishment of control over the settlement strengthens our positions in the area and complicates the enemy's ability to hold neighboring lines. At the same time, battles remain extremely difficult in the area of Hrushevske, Tolstoi, Piddubne, and Voskresenka, writes. The Armed Forces of Ukraine want to enter the rear of the grouping of Russian troops that is advancing in the area of Huliaipole and, thus, cut off a peculiar 'hump' that hangs from the eastern flank over the positions of the Ukrainian army in Orikhiv. At the same time, the Russians, according to data from the Telegram channels of Russia, are advancing north of Huliaipole — toward Liubytske, through which the line of Ukrainian defense passes.
