A major security scare unfolded in Washington during a high-profile White House press dinner event.

The US President revealed that the suspect had written an anti-Christian manifesto and planned to target top administration officials. The accused, a 31-year-old man from California, was arrested at the scene before reaching the main event area.

According to reports, the manifesto outlined a detailed plan, including the use of specific weapons and target priorities. The suspect’s family had earlier alerted authorities about his concerning behaviour.

Security agencies acted quickly and stopped the suspect in time, preventing a possible tragedy.
