🛠️ 【Japanese Old House DIY】We Finally Transformed Our Worn-Out Dressing Room!
こんにちは、高知の田舎で築100年の古民家に暮らす30代夫婦です。
Hello! We are a couple in our 30s living in a 100-year-old Japanese old house in the countryside of Kochi, Japan.

今回は、前回解体した脱衣場のリノベーションの続きです！
This video is a continuation of our dressing room renovation project!
前回は湿気で傷んでいた壁を撤去し、
石膏ボードを張り、漆喰を塗りました。
In the previous episode, we removed the moisture-damaged walls, installed new drywall, and finished the walls with traditional plaster.
今回は天井を張り替えて、少しずつ快適な空間へと生まれ変わらせていきます。
This time, we're replacing the ceiling and continuing the transformation, slowly turning this old space into a more comfortable and functional room.
DIYはほぼ初心者の私たち。
We are still complete DIY beginners.
慣れない作業に苦戦しながらも、
夫婦で試行錯誤を繰り返し、
理想の脱衣場を目指して作業を進めました。
While struggling with unfamiliar tasks, we worked together as a couple, learning through trial and error, and doing our best to create the dressing room we envisioned.
築100年を超える古民家だからこそ、
予想外の問題もたくさん出てきますが、
少しずつ手を加えるたびに
「自分たちの家になっていく」感覚があり、
毎回ワクワクしています。
Living in a Japanese old house that is over 100 years old means unexpected problems seem to appear at every turn. But with each improvement, it feels more and more like our own home, and that's what makes this journey so exciting.
完璧な仕上がりではありませんが、
DIY初心者夫婦のリアルな挑戦として
