Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been conferred the 'Bintang Adipurna of the Republic of Indonesia', the country's highest civilian honour, in recognition of his contribution to strengthening India-Indonesia ties.
India and Indonesia have sealed the BrahMos missile deal, under which India will supply additional units of the supersonic cruise missile to Indonesia. After the Philippines and Vietnam, Indonesia has become the third country to purchase the BrahMos missile.
